This is a celebratory time! The parent and child will meet with me, and we will casually talk about the school year while the child highlights his or her accomplishments by showing me the portfolio.
Evaluations will last up to 30 minutes per student and take place via Zoom.
Ensure you have met the required time as defined in the law and have your portfolio.
The portfolio should include:
Writings, worksheets, workbooks, or creative materials (pictures, brochures, projects, etc) used or developed by the student to demonstrate progress in the required areas, including fire safety (This should not be cumbersome. Think of the portfolio as a scrapbook and celebration of the school year. Generally, only a few samples are needed per subject. Digital portfolios are welcome, but check first to ensure access is possible.)
Results of standardized testing (grades 3, 5, and 8 only)

As a certified teacher in the state of Pennsylvania with the required grading experience, I am qualified to evaluate for all grade levels K-12. Additionally, I am qualified to provide preapproval letters for students with special needs.
